Vinted Users Express Anger Regarding Size Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage due to a modification that led to items being listed as the wrong size.
The popular resale platform has revised its size classifications for women's and children's clothes failing to inform all users about the change.

Many shoppers and sellers are expressing on platforms saying Vinted listings now show a different size category than originally posted because of the remapping.
The company said the new system was more in line with similar services.
The platform has recommended to examine their items and update the measurements by hand when needed, which has left users frustrated.
Size Classification Modifications
Earlier, the sizing featured one number and one letter, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the measurements have been reclassified - such as a large size used to be a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.
User Stories
One content creator, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed featuring size 14 markings were appearing on the platform as larger sizing 20-22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they will likely be quite upset," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
Marketplace Information
The app has more than 100 million users, comprising 18 million UK members.
It has proved a popular alternative versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion where an unanticipated change within the service has received backlash: last year, the platform withdrew an update to its shipping options due to shopper criticism.
