Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
